Kattie Fan 范可琪

Kattie Fan is a curator, creative producer, festival organizer, and educator working in the field of film and media arts, culture, and technology. During her tenure at the Hong Kong Arts Centre from 2009 to 2023, she directed the ifva Awards and Festival for its 20th to 28th editions (2014-2023), introducing groundbreaking programs such as the large-scale outdoor art event ifva Everywhere Carnival, media art exhibition CINEMA 2.0, the All About Us ethnic minority film festival, and VR Cinema. Currently, she excels as an industry-based adjunct lecturer, sharing her expertise in media art curation, new media dramaturgy, art management, and immersive storytelling.  Her produced work, Chroma 11, is a combination of dance, virtual reality, and film installation. It was the first Hong Kong virtual reality project selected for the Biennale College Cinema VR under La Biennale di Venezia in Italy, and had its world premiere at the 79th Venice Film Festival.
